Test Week

So I should be studying right now but I will do anything to avoid that. Yesterday I went to the Rugby game in Brisbane. It was a great game and the action was brutal. It took us longer to travel then we were their but that was due in large part to the fact we planed nothing and missed just about every form of transportation we tried. I have three tests this week and then I’m off to Sidney for Mardi Gras. We did a century club last weekend and it was an absolute shit show. I have picks and video that is absolutely hilarious. Just over a week till my birthday and I am sad to say I’m not really looking forward to it. It will be heaps of fun I know but not getting to do it at home is sad and it is very anti-climactic cause I have been drinking in the bars since I have been here. It will be nice to come back and be able to drink however I really feel bad for the people that have to go back and are again not legal. If anyone know about registration please let me know cause I don’t want to miss it. Thanks and I will talk to you after the tests are over….

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Sorry about the delay I have been busy and fucked up a lot. Thanks for leaving a story drew and that is fucking great. Fosters is not here at all. We drink Toohey’s, XXXX, and VB but there are so many different kinds of each. The beer is good but nothing great. For anyone traveling here when you order a ‘light’ beer it has the same calories but less alcohol. I never checked before about the amount of booze in the beer but now I look on every bottle. American beer is like $16 a 6-pack. The spirits market is a lot bigger here and they have rum called Bundaberg that I am in love with. I have already killed 3 bottles to myself pre-gaming.  The bars can be expensive if you black out but they don’t usually accept credit cards.
Respect is something that I have been thinking a lot about and how when people perceive you differently they outwardly show you different types of respect. Being in a place where everyone and everything is new you can really tell how you are coming off to some people by how much respect they show you. That’s my rant for the time being…stay tuned.

V Day

I don’t know what to do when the girl you are talking to picks a girl over you. I love the threesome idea and have been working for one since my first taste but I feel a very strange sensation after a girl clearly chose another girl over me. I have been playing it very casual here and that will continue after tonight because if that is what I’m facing I don’t have a choice.

Jackson Vs. Cuban

Charles Barkley just said Phil Jackson would kick Mark Cuban’s ass…I love Charles. I finally am feeling completely healthy and I am starting to have a true group of friends. I have been getting crazy wrecked cause I have started drinking a lot of spirits and it is a faster way to tie one on. Learned to body surf yesterday for real and I can ride a pipe on my stomach. Pitchers and Catchers report to spring training in less than two weeks. Go Cubs…

Sick Again

How I could get sick again is absolutely beyond me. Well my cold has kept me around campus but that doesn’t limit fun in all forms. The Aussies love their barbies and it is fun to just relax and hang around. We are in the rainy season and the last 3 days have been very overcast and it poured for like 10 and then its get clear for 15. The weather and the animals are the daily differences I see everyday. Everything back at school seems to be crazy now that I’m gone but I don’t understand why I have to miss all the fun. Better posts coming as I do some more interesting things.

Polaver

An open bar is never a bad thing, but when it starts with open beer and then they open the spirits you are asking for trouble. I had a crazy night at a party the call Polaver, it is one of Bonds biggest Uni sponsored parties. I am so happy with the people I have meet here but if we all went to school here we would all be dropouts and burnouts. I am so sad to be missing Big Ben’s super bowl at Miami but I will be watching it at 930 am on Monday instead of being in class. Oh and I got my new shoes from the Philippines and they came wrapped in bubble wrap and a paper bag. I think they fell off a truck.

Bulls Shit

If the Bulls would start playing like and NBA team and not a College All-star team maybe they wouldn’t only play 2 quarters in every game. They were down 30 to Dallas and came back within 1.  Otherwise life is great. Class is becoming harder and harder to attend but other things are more important. No one has left any comments with what they are doing. Please do, I like fun stories. Also my new favorite saying is “Jack Bauer would get off the Island from Lost in 24 hours” oh so true.....
